Councilwoman Visits Emerson

Councilwoman Gerrie Schipske recently visited our student council members.  Emerson's elected representatives were anxious to hear about Ms. Schipske’s career, and learn about Long Beach, as well as get some pointers about the legislative process and ways to get involved in school and in the community.  After her presentation and discussion, Ms. Schipske and the student council members had a chance to enjoy an Italian lunch together.  We are grateful that Ms. Schipske was able to take time out of her busy schedule to visit us!
